NEWS: Morocco rocks to all-girl rap group

Morocco's first ever all-girl rap group is storming the traditionally conservative music scene.
Tigress Flow, made up of three girls in their early twenties, Youssra, Hind and Wahiba, as well as DJ Benns, won first prize in the Generation Magazine awards in Rabat and a prize at the Casablanca music festival.
Led by former air stewardess Youssra, Tigress Flow rap in Arabic and use their lyrics to condemn violence, inequality and sexual harassment, which has made them enemies within the Moroccan establishment.

During a concert last year in Casablanca, one official tried to close down the show because he did not like the outspoken way the band addressed the country's social problems.
Music journalist Sarah Raiss said: "I hope to see more and more girls in rap music.
