NEWS: Kravitz Jackson song leaked!
A song entitled, 'Another Day', featuring both MJ and Lenny Kravitz was leaked onto the internet last week. This has infuriated Kravitz and MJ's estate as it was never meant to be released.
MJ's estate lawyers are in the process of pulling the track off the internet and retrieving it. Kravitz is devastated and claims he had nothing to do with the leak whatsoever. He also stated the track was not final and is not mixed. Lenny speaks out about the track check it out.
NEWS: ILUVLIVE GOES LARGE WITH BBC BURSARY & PROUD!
Following the last two ILUVLIVE roadblocks, (last week we had queues back to the main entrance to the Market!), we are moving to the main room at Proud on Monday 1st Feb (would have been immediate but for pre-existing bookings). We would like to thank Proud for their support for the night and all the acts that make it such a fantastic event.
NEWS: Full listings of MOBO nominees 2009
For the first time in its history the MOBO Awards are moving to Glasgow and will be held at the SECC on Wednesday 30th September 2009.
This year's show will see some of the world's biggest stars descend on the Scottish city for what is billed to be the best MOBO Awards show to date! Voting is now closed. Winners will be announced at the show. The MOBO Awards 2009 will be shown live on BBC3 and will repeat on BBC1 on Friday 2nd October. Nominees are as follows:
NEW: BBC Performing Arts Fund announces recipients of 2009 Urban Music Bursary awards
The BBC Performing Arts Fund today unveiled the 15 recipients of the 2009 Urban Music Bursary awards. The scheme, which launched in 2005, is designed to target the urban music community and helps talented self-starters with big ideas and motivation by providing some working capital, mentoring, advice, contacts and training in order to further their careers in the industry.
NEWS: Speech Debelle wins Mercury Music Prize
Congratulations to Speech Debelle, winner of this year's Barclaycard Mercury Prize. Her album 'Speech Therapy' saw her beat off tough competition from the likes of La Roux and Florence & The Machine to pick up the coverted prize. The South London lyricist bigged up fellow shortlisted artists The Invisible before thanking all the Big Dada crew and her family.
Victory will undoubtedly help boost sales and media profile but time will tell whether Speech blazes a trail like previous Mercury Prize winner Dizzee Rascal.

Actress Brittany Murphy, star of Hollywood films such as Clueless and 8 Mile, has died at the age of 32 after collapsing at home in Los Angeles. Coroners said that Murphy, who was pronounced dead in hospital, appeared to have died of natural causes.
