VIDEO: Ed Sheeran (Acoustic) Performance at Help Japan Fundraiser

On March 31st the Hoxton Pony, London, held a Help Japan event with Ed Sheeran, Yasmin, Calvin Harris, Mark Ronson and more as headline acts to the fundraiser. The event (which was held to raise money for the Japanese Red Cross) was organised after Japan saw the seventh largest earthquake ever recorded. The death toll is a reported to reach over 20, 000 deaths.

Ed Sheeran (like the lovely lad he is) showed his support with this acoustic version of You Need Me I Don't Need You.

LIVE REVIEW: Marger at G-Shock East Session

Back with another packed out night, On Friday 18th March London's Brick Lane store saw another G-Shock east session, with performances from Mystro, Teezy, Marger, Darren B, Fugative, Snakeyman, and D Double E.

Music was provided by Kiss 100's DJ Swerve who had the crowd like bouncing puppets as he dropped the bangers all night to ensure maximum party vibes were flowing and as usual, people were hanging in and out of the store- the perfect industry family reunion.

Being on the rap scene for a while, it seemed like a long time coming for Devlin to be on tour promoting his debut album Bud, Sweat & Tears, the album that will arguably allow him to solidify his position as one of the top MC’s in the UK.

Known for his prowess on the mic, high expectations were felt amongst the crowd in anticipation for the evening.

NEWS: EB Networks Auditions

EB Networks is a new non profit social enterprise, set up in 2010. Their aim is to create opportunities for young people to get the recognition many of them deserve and to celebrate arts with young people. The company has many branches and are currently foucsing efforts on creating a platform for young people under the age of 26 to showcase their craft and network with other people in the entertainment industry.

Presenter Milly Allen (founder of Milly's World) has partnered with The Monarch, Camden for the latest Milly's World music showcase featuring artists Sincere, Roxxxan, The Thirst, Matt Henshaw and Sinead Harnett.

With her carefully selected acts she engages a very relaxed and fun interview with the artists which are later broad-casted on the millysworlduk YouTube channel.

BBC 1xtra Live returns for a third year running with yet another stellar line up of urban music's finest players.

The gig, taking place at London's Wembley Arena on the 27th September will be headlined by NDubz and will feature performances from the likes of rappers Tinchy Stryder, Tinie Tempah and US star B.o.B.
