PROFILE: Triple Threat prepares to deliver on his promise

Triple Threat has been blessing mics over the last few years with freestyles and songs on Kiss 100, Rinse FM, Choice FM, BBC 1xtra right through to Radio 1. It's hardly surprising that he's catching the attention of true hip hop fans.

Having placed well on the starting grid for Sway's 'Up Your Speed Remix', heavily rotation on various radio stations, plus a cameo on 679's 'Run The Road' (Sony) has helped Triple jostle his way into pole position. Collabos with Shola's little sister Sadie Ama, Leon Jean-Marie, Tinie Tempah, Wiley, Mz Bratt, Ironik and Tinchy Stryder only go on to prove the pedigree.

As Triple Threat readies his pre-album, 'Born Again', it's clear that he is fulfilling an ambition that has been years in the making.

Music has always been a big part of Triple Threat's life. Inspiring by his uncle, Junior Marvin from Bob Marley and the Wailers, he entered the music game at an early age. Aged 10, Triple became a member of Simon Cowell's urban pop proteges Ultimate Chaos. Marked for greatness, the boys went on to release a slew of singles and even performed on the same stage as Take That in Liverpool. Years later Triple was clearing a path through the emerging jungle scene, rocking stages and working alongside D'N'B legends MC Det, Shabba D and Skibadee.

As Triple Threat readies his pre-album, 'Born Again', it's clear that he is fulfilling an ambition that has been years in the making. The set presents an artist who has come of age and features top collaborations with the likes of Leon Jean-Marie, Thaii Thaii and more. Triple threat has been a god when it comes to freestyles! He has been blessing mics for a couple of years now and also with some freestyles and songs in Rinse FM, Kiss 100, Choice FM and now even to BBC 1xtra and Radio 1 which is actually quite an achievement! Hip Hop fans are mad about him because of the image he puts up! He is now preparing for his new album 'Born again' which fulfills one of his big ambitions.
