MY TAKEOVER: INF has an informative afternoon at the All-Dayer

I had one of the most exciting times of my music, modeling and acting career on Saturday 6th March 2010. The Industry Takeover event was so exhilarating and inspirational.

Being in the same space as some of the cool and most influential people in the UK music scene right about now, including names such as Ras Kwame (BBC 1Xtra), Miss C (RWD Magazine), Master Shortie, Wretch 32, Ghetts, Griminal and Princess Nyah.

The day started early in the morning with GrimeDaily, Flavour, Edutainment and more stalls setting up live in the Rich Mix venue, then we kicked off with some of the finest talent I've heard/seen in a long while now on the open mic session then few performers showed how it's done, then the IFE (IFeelExperience) and I (Infecta) took to the stage and demonstrated how to have a good look and make it look good modeling UK clothing lines like Down Wid It and BoxFresh plus exclusives from Master Shortie merchandise.

"I now have MY secret recipe on how to break into the scene. So, let the games begin…"

After being apart of the model team, I had to make like Pharrell Williams and ‘change clothes’ to crash the fashion show with a quick performance, which went really well. Then I strolled off to a few seminars with professional panels to learn how I’m going to Takeover the Industry. I now have MY secret recipe on how to break into the scene. So, let the games begin…

Being around so many positive people made it easier to get motivated and keep this motivation moving. By the time the event end came to a close I had supported Tribal Man, MC Versatile and also won an award for Best Male Dancer all on stage (AS IF!). If all this was not good enough, I then was able to network with loads of companies, people and more, including producers such as Terra Danjah and Nocturnal.

INF is a young, talented, upcoming musician. As an artist, he is known as Infecta (Logan Sama - KISS 100). The name means: 'Lyrically sick and influence others to spit’ and was given to him by a close friend, who passed away, so he keeps it in his honour.
