A.L.
A.L. is a UK funky singing sensation. Known for her club banger 'Tell Me', produced by Footsteps, she is carving out a niche in the scene with a little help from the likes of Jammer, Lewi White and Rollin G. Her style of music ranges from funky house, R&B, neo soul, grime to pop. A.L.’s forthcoming E.P. will showcase her diverse range with production courtesy of heavyweights such as Hardhouse Banton, Swindle, Footsteps, KG, Hitty (K.I.G. Family) and more. With ‘Tell Me’ making noise on the Ministry of Sound compilation, 'The Sounds of UK Funky', this vocal dynamo is ready to tear up the scene.

CYNIKAL
Eight years has seen the punch lines hit more than a few wretched lyricists in battles, stun stage show audiences and tune radio waves into his frequency. His set at The Blitz promises to temper hard rhymes with the neo-soulish vibe of his live band, the Street Ochestra. Already a seasoned performer, Cynikal has graced platforms with The Game and worked with the Duplate Drama crew. Make sure you're front and centre when this class act brings the ruckus.

CYNTHIA
ERIVO
A performer by name and by nature, it’s really all she knows. Cynthia’s been doing it since she uttered her first word, and she describes her love for singing as being akin to the high from inhaling pure oxygen. The Industry Takeover Blitz will be the perfect arena for her to exhibit her showmanship. Cynthia's soulful sound, infused with a true passion for performance, will leave the crowd wanting more.

DA CLIQUE
Group of four, Smila, Poet, B.O.A.T. and Skribz, bonded in North London. Drawn together by a love of true lyricism and flow, the energetic foursome crafted a poignant sound that has won them a loyal following. Axe FM provided the platform to raise their status and broadcast their madcap style on community airwaves. Several show-stealing performances later, and heavy exposure on Channel AKA (thanks to the contagious single 'Never Gonna Blow') the boys are well on their way. Armed with a professional approach to the business and a bag of infectious energy, Da Clique are out to prove that ‘Best They Know’ is more than a song title. It's a way of life.

DADDYS GIRLS
In 2003, three young students decided to take part in their university talent show. After coming to the realisation that they didn’t have time to choreograph their usual dance routine one person turned to the other two and said “Should we rap, guys?” and with a shrug and nod of a head the Daddys Girls were formed. Now, three degrees, lots of hard work and many years later the Daddys Girls are ready to launch themselves into public domain. Influenced by an eclectic mix of soul, reggae, hip hop, drum & bass and jungle they set out to bring us back to a time where melodic flows, thought provoking lyrics and interesting sounds were essential for a hit song.

EARS
Ears is one of the grime scene’s young pioneers. Hailing from East London, the agile lyricist started his career as part of Jammer's Jah Mek Da World team. Since those early days he has gone on to collaborate with some of the brightest names on the scene such as Faith SFX, D Double E and Lethal B. Ears recently took his UK fame global, thanks to a series of tour dates that took in America, Canada and most of Europe (where he appeared at the Summersplash Reggae Festival in Germany). With an ever-expanding fan base, interviews on MTV Base and Channel AKA, and an appearance on Dubplate Drama all under his belt, Ears is ready to hit the homegrown scene with new material. So come with open ears and watch as he returns for the ‘takeover’.

FUZZY LOGIC
Fuse together Afro-funk with indie and crush some Hendrix-inspired rock in a blender for good measure; mix in a little dub, then add a shot of hip hop and fire water. What comes out the other end is as close as you'll get to describing what front man Darwood and his merry men serve up when they hit the stage. Fuzzy Logic formed in October 2007 through a mutual love of music and a ritualistic hatred of sounding like anyone else. There’s no hype in the proclamation, as pinning down the sound is as difficult as it is to keep still when witnessing one of their high octane shows. Having rocked festivals and shared stages with the likes of Pete Doherty, they should rhyme well with the eclectic guests expected at The Blitz.

HIGHLY RATED ENT.
Highly Rated Ent. was originally formed as a grime crew back in 2005. Each artist has earned stripes on their own merit. Whether heating up the airwaves, releasing big tunes like D.Darks 'Mission Riddim', blazing the Top 20 in the Channel AKA chart or making noise with buzz single 'Back', Xploder and the HRE team are putting in work. Expect big things from this group as they steadily work their way up the ranks.

The song is still receiving continuous plays by every UK funky DJ and is amongst the top three ‘Skank’ songs along with KIG’s ‘Head, Shoulders, Kneez and Toez, and Gracious K’s ‘Migraine Skank’. With a prominent spot on the Industry Takeover bill this December, Tribal Man Magz will be busy spreading his tribal vibes for the massive stepping out on the dance floors at The Blitz. Don’t miss it!

Trozion is one of the top MCs of his age group and in his genre. A young, intelligent artist with swagger and the grace of a gentleman; the 15 years old North Londoner has already won the attention of grime godfather Wiley and producer of the moment, Dot Rotten. Despite Trozion's status as an unknown artist, both beat makers were suitably impressed to offer productions for his forthcoming mixtape. At present, Trozion is riding off the buzz created by his ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ street track and the conscious stylings of the Badness-guesting 'Guidance', an uplifting Black History Month tribute that featured on our very own website. So look out for one of the top youts in the game - Trozion is coming to rep Generation Next.
