Times are changing... and so is Urban Development. For over a decade we've championed London's finest urban music talent with an array of live events, seminars and education initiatives. Now it’s your turn to help us write the next chapter.

Urban Development is looking for creative minds to play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation and the scene as a whole. Join the team and you’ll get the inside word on all Urban Development projects. Think events management, interviews, videos, podcasts and exclusive competitions.

Come along and…

• Learn more about one of the urban music scene’s leading arts organisations

• Develop your understanding of magazine editorial, as the team explore innovative ways to develop the blog - Urban Development’s fast-paced online hub.

• Gain an insight into the music business from specialists across the music industry

• Discuss promotional ideas for flyers, t-shirts, stickers and slogans.

• Develop essential industry skills 

What we're looking for... 

All you need to do is sign up and bring a passion for urban music, a healthy dose of energy and plenty of enthusiasm. You'll also need be able to attend regular fortnightly meetings and be willing to dedicate some free time to spreading the UD word! Also, let us know your area of interest within the team:

Events Team - responsible for programming, organising rehearsals, stage management, artist liaison and making sure everything runs smoothly!

Marketing Team - responsible for the masterminding campaigns, concepts for flyers and all promotional material, grabbing attention on social networks, generating press. and getting bums on seats!

Media Team - responsible for capturing the golden moments at Urban Development events whether it be filming, journalism (presenting and writing), photography or podcasts and ensuring it's edited, uploaded and spreading virally across our social networks!
