ILUVLIVE: ABOUT ILUVLIVE
ILUVLIVE is the UK's Premier Homegrowen Live Music Event. If you haven’t followed the ILUVLIVE story, we launched in June 2004 as a place to showcase homegrown talent with a live band. Originally at the very intimate Suga Suga on London’s Wardour St, the night moved to the roomier Market Place in February 2006 before moving to the even roomier Favela Chic in 2008, then Bar Rumba for a series of weekly uncut sessions over the summer in 2009. Finally we have come to rest at Proud Camden and now run every Monday. In September 2007 with the support of the Arts Council England, The PRS Foundation, Live Mechanics, MTV Base and BBC 1Xtra, ILUVLIVE launched a series of city residencies in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Derby and Bristol culminating in a Best of ILUVLIVE at Cargo in March 2008. Since then we have done a number of bigger ILUVLIVE Specials at Cargo and Sound London. The night has showcased artists as diverse and well established as Kano, Omar, Taio Cruz, Bashy, Chipmunk, Tinchy Stryder, Katy B, Ndubz, Tawiah, Roll Deep, Donaeo, DJ Ironik, Crazy Cousinz, Ms , Natty, Cocknbullkid, Laura Izibor, Ghetts, MPHO, Sway, Gracious K, Shystie, The Stow, and The Thirst amongst many.
ILUVLIVE: OPEN MIC
Each event features 6-8 acts drawn from all genres of homegrown music and all artists perform either with their own or the ILUVLIVE house band We have a 60 second open mic so if you want to get involved, sign up on the night. You’ll be given 60 seconds to show us what you can do and the most popular two acts with the audience win a coveted slot at the following weeks show. We have limited slots for each event so make sure you get there early to sign up. Original material only, no backing tracks but if the band catch the vibe they will join in. This is the best way to get a slot on ILUVLIVE as our regular slots are booked up 4-8 weeks in advance and we expect an act to have some press, radio play or A&R interest before they get one of these. ILUVLIVE ETHOS
The primary aims are to provide a premium showcase to the public and provide an opportunity for young emerging talent to perform with a live band alongside established performers and musicians. The event itself has become a meeting point for music industry professionals from record labels, management, publishing companies and radio. As well as providing networking opportunities it also offers emerging artists rare access to major music industry figures.
ILUVLIVE: THE FUTURE
ILUVLIVE currently runs every Monday at Proud Camden and plans to hold larger one off events to compliment the smaller weekly shows. We are also looking at TV partnerships fowling our successful partnership with MTV Base on 2008 when the show was shown on the Lick every month.

Jade Richardson: Founder/Consultant
Former A&R at Polydor Records, Jade signed and worked the albums for artists including Ms Dynamite, Gemma Fox, Durrty Goodz & Curtis Lynch Jnr. As a music consultant she has worked with numerous music and media companies such as Channel 4, Urban Development, BBC, The Dairy Recording Studios & Music Matrix. She currently co-manages MPHO on Wall Of Sound Recordings.

Rachael Bee: Brand/General Manager
Rachael Bee began her career in music promoting clubs with Trevor Nelson. Behind some of the biggest urban club success stories of the past twenty years including Flipside at Iceni, Respect at The Wag, The MTV Lick Parties and The Flavour Parties for Channel 4, she set up Impact Ventures in 1998 and went on to provide urban marketing strategies for major labels, head up the launch of Def Jam in the UK as General Manager and manager numerous UK artists.
