UProgress was a lively demonstration of the best pre-16 talent in Newham. Those gathered were blessed with performances from creative young singers, songwriters, dancers and emcees from the Street Symphony collective. The evening's hosts had more than enough comic spirit to kick-start the show and did a perfect job keeping the revelers engaged between sets.

Charlie Dark presents Bring the Noise. Each artist has selected works from Ofili's exhibition and provides a response using their own creative platform whether that be music, comedy, street art, fashion or hair cutting.

SINGING THE LANDSCAPE: JANET KAY & URBAN STARS TAKE TO THE PARK
Enjoy an afternoon of funky beats, soulful tunes and urban sounds featuring sets from rising R&B star Young Nate, grime lyricist Tinie Tempah, pop sensation Kele Le Roc, UK funky familia Crazy Cousinz, soulful songstress Hannah-Rose and the 'Queen of Lover's Rock' Janet Kay. Headlining the gig are a group of 40 young performers from across Barking & Dagenham and Newham who have created a 30 minute set of original lyrics and music expressing their views on the rapidly changing East London landscape.

Tinie continues the onslaught with another banger, this time produced by Rymez and featuring the mighty M.I.A. on the hook. 'I'm Hot' sees the East boy on the East Coast getting NY up on the UK swagger. The song features on Tempah's 'Sexy Beat Vol. 1' CD.
