Shortlisted as BBC Sound of 2012, Azealia Banks has unveiled her new track 'Liquorice' over the weekend. Spitting over Nottingham producer Lone's 'Pineapple Crush', the American rapper blows us away with her versatile flow and sharp lyrics.

Azealia Banks will showcase her new material in collaboration with producer Paul Epworth at her headline show on February 27th at Heaven.

After taking a four-year hiatus from music, Ice Kid is back.

Taking the spotlight with his freestyle alongside Chipmunk and Wiley on Tim Westwood back in 2007, Ice Kid, now signed to Amplify Dot's label AmpedUP, has unveiled the audio of his second single this year 'Live Once'.

Debuted on DJ Target on 1Xtra last Friday 18th November, 'Live Once' is taken off Ice Kid's forthcoming 'Jekyll & Hyde' debut EP, which includes his previous single 'The Rain'. Out next year, the EP sees the 19 years old as a producer and singer as well.

Monday night witnessed the July edition of the YBS Lounge in the heart of east London, a showcase dedicated to celebrating positivity and the acheivements of young ethnic minority people. So we sent down Beatrice Alessio to soak up all the action and check out what went down...
