'Libation', the latest single from Hip Hop artist, Segge Dan alongside UK soul
legend, Omar and fellow rapper, Mattik. Initially a released as a free download to mark Black History month, 'Libation' (the ancient African ritual of pouring out of spirits
to honour the ancestors) pays homage to the Windrush Generation of African and Caribbean migrants who came to the UK in
the 50’s and 60’s.
'Libation' is taken from Segge Dan's critically-acclaimed album 'Black Britanyaa –The
Windrush Vol 2' and has received rave reviews, including a four-star review in The Metro:

How could you possibly find the right words to sum up the opening night of Re:Definition? A collaboration of exciting, unquestionable talent originating from London would be true, but also much too brief! Its creators, Urban Development managed once again, to put on an incredible show, portraying urban music in a new light. Artists joined forces to 'welcome us to London’ providing an amazing soundtrack to the city and its urban culture along the way.
