According to online magazine TMZ Staff, Scott Storch has been charged with grand theft auto. The super-producer, who crafted hit records for Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, Beyonce and Sean Paul, allegedly leased a Bentley but never returned it after the expiration date. It took the leasing company 7 months to find it.

NEWS: Run DMC walk their way into Rock Hall of Fame

Pioneering hip hop group Run DMC was officially inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio on April 4 2009. The duo was honored during a star-studded gala that saw Little Anthony and the Imperials, Wanda Jackson, Metallica, Jeff Beck and Bobby Womack, inducted into the prestigious music Hall of Fame.

Thousands of fans attended the event, including numerous celebrities like Russell Simmons, Lyor Cohen, Bill Adler, Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood, Justine Simmons and Eminem, who introduced the group.

NEWS: T-Pain loses teeth in 'Golf Cart' accident

Some people say that golf is a peaceful and cilivised game... apparently not for hit producer and singer T-Pain, who was allegedly involved in a freak golf cart accident on Friday (March 27). According to reports, T-Pain suffered a number of cuts and abrasions on his face and he also lost four teeth in the accident. As a result, T-Pain missed two high profile appearances with Lil Wayne and Lil Kim. He missed his slot on the Lil Wayne 'I Am Music Tour' stop in San Jose, California on Friday.

NEWS: Morocco rocks to all-girl rap group

Morocco's first ever all-girl rap group is storming the traditionally conservative music scene.

Tigress Flow, made up of three girls in their early twenties, Youssra, Hind and Wahiba, as well as DJ Benns, won first prize in the Generation Magazine awards in Rabat and a prize at the Casablanca music festival.

Led by former air stewardess Youssra, Tigress Flow rap in Arabic and use their lyrics to condemn violence, inequality and sexual harassment, which has made them enemies within the Moroccan establishment.

NEWS: Nelly Furtado launches indie label

Pop star and Timbaland collaborator, Nelly Furtado is taking the independent route with the launch of her own label, Nelstar. The imprint will work in cooperation with the Canadian independent label group Last Gang Labels.

The Toronto-based electro-dance band Fritz Helder & the Phantoms is the first act signed to Nelstar and will release its debut album July 7.

NEWS: Public Enemy can't be held back at 'Roots Picnic'

TV On The Radio, Public Enemy, the Black Keys and Santigold are among the acts handpicked by The Roots to play the band's second annual hometown "Roots Picnic" on June 6 at Festival Pier in Philadelphia. Public Enemy will perform the classic album "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back" in its entirety backed by The Roots and Brooklyn-based Afrobeat band Antibalas. The Roots will also play two sets, opening and closing the festivities. The "Roots Picnic" runs from 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
