I went to Junior Reid's listening party at Runway Lounge in the Flat Iron district of NYC. With obscene chandeliers, and a long luxurious bar I was interested to see how the night would progress. I was supposed to get an interview with Junior that evening, but it got hectic in V.I.P. and it seemed like half the press in New York had turned up to get a piece, so I had to wait...

If you go to New York, you have to go to S.O.B's - short for 'Son's Of Brasil'. I don't think I've ever had a bad night there. There are always album release parties, Hot 97 parties and some of the best artists in the city regularly perform there. Amazingly it's a real intimate space, nothing stush, just great music.

'What The F-UK is NY Street?!' is a sassy English girl's journey through the infamous streets of New York, taking a look at music, fashion and lifestyle along the way.

It's simple. I had an idea. I booked flights to New York and two nights in a hostel. The hostel happened to be in BedStuy (where Biggie Smalls grew up, though I didn't know this at the time).

Lady Jay UK (Jay Diamond) is sending shockwaves as one of the North West's most exciting female vocalists, DJ's, and journalists. It's difficult to categorise this one - she's ecclectic, creative and about her business.
