A Seventy Recordings Special with...

Jamie Leo (pictured)

PROFILE: Jamie Leo plays it smooth

"When I first heard her sing it just stopped me dead. I knew I could provide the right music for her," says John Turner (aka Cemist), founder of Seventy Entertainment.

"I gave her a bassline we worked out a few chords on a fender rhodes and Jamie just started singing right there and then."

PROFILE: Kosha keeps it pure and simple

Born and bred in the belly of the beast, Bethnal Green, E2, Kosha has managed to establish himself as a very diverse and hard graft artist on the underground scene, as Seventy Recordings newest signing confesses ‘I was born to do this'.

PROFILE: Scrabull has a few words in your ear

Scrabull is a wordsmith, a true lover of language, a poet and free thinker; he speaks his mind and argues his corner, whether it's a critique of gang culture and the society that fuels it, or an exploration of the metaphysical.

Born in South London, raised in Letchworth, Herts by a Bajan father and Scottish mother, Scrabull's childhood soundtrack was a never ending stream of roots, reggae, lovers rock, soul and calypso blended with country, folk and traditional Celtic song.

VIDEO: Fuzzy Logic live at ILUVLIVE

Fuzzy Logic bring their unique brand of space age dub to the ILUVLIVE massive. The industry insiders were not ready for their rowdy antics, but anybody who knows the band will testify that orthodox just isn't their style. Watch out for these guys.

PROFILE: Kobi Onyame shares his hunger for the game

Born on the 3rd of July 1982 in Accra, Ghana, Kobi Onyame (born Kwame Barfour-Osei) moved to England at the tender age of 1. At the age of 7 he relocated with his family to Ghana.

VIDEO: Fuzzy Logic blitz the balcony

Fuzzy Logic's rapid delivery sounds more like a grimed out Madness than The Streets. Squally guitar drenches their sound through frothy bass lines and a general feeling of intense bonhomie. 'March On' er marches on particularly well with a stuttering bass heavy rhythm and dual rap urgency plus a guitar line that sounds like an angry wasp stuck in a bottle... they call it experimental big beat club music...'
