Monday night witnessed the July edition of the YBS Lounge in the heart of east London, a showcase dedicated to celebrating positivity and the acheivements of young ethnic minority people. So we sent down Beatrice Alessio to soak up all the action and check out what went down...

Although running late due to the constant pars by TfL (I had to wait 20 minutes for the bus) and a cheeky bagel on the way, I headed down to Brickhouse for the YBS Lounge alongside my partner in crime Verena Stefanie Grotto aka Kids of Grime.
