Piloted in 2009/10, UDevelop+ Plus is an engaging and innovative training programme to develop the skills of young people resident in the Host Olympic Boroughs who are not currently in employment, education or training (NEET).

As well as skills development in music making, students investigate the role of new technologies within the creation, marketing and promotion of a recording, including awareness of copyright and intellectual property legislation. Learners are encouraged to run their operation as a record label, exploring traditional marketing opportunities and online social networking platforms.
