With the BRITs cerimony just hours away and everyone wondering who's going to win what, DJ Fresh asked for the return of 'Best Dance' category at the renowned awards, after it was scrapped in 2005. 

The man behind the first drum'n'bass track ('Hot Right Now' featuring Rita Ora) to reach the number on spot in the charts said, "It seems absolutely crazy there is no award, considering how many dance music tracks there in the charts" also recalling Skrillex's triumph at the Grammys, " [he] has just won three Grammys, the US is really accepting of dance and bass music. I think it's crazy that they don't represent dance music and they should really bring that back." 

Will the omnipotent BRIT Awards listen to DJ Fresh? Maybe they will do a special announcement tonight at the ceremony?

Only time will tell.
