LIVE REVIEW: Marger at G-Shock East Session
Back with another packed out night, On Friday 18th March London's Brick Lane store saw another G-Shock east session, with performances from Mystro, Teezy, Marger, Darren B, Fugative, Snakeyman, and D Double E.
Music was provided by Kiss 100's DJ Swerve who had the crowd like bouncing puppets as he dropped the bangers all night to ensure maximum party vibes were flowing and as usual, people were hanging in and out of the store- the perfect industry family reunion.
“I just performed 3 tracks tonight including 'Amazing' and 'Fresh', they will be on my up and coming album. I finished it off with my new single 'Making Moves'. It went really good” said Snakeyman. 'Making Moves' will be released on the 28th March.
By the time D Double went on stage, people were so hyped, Host Shadez The Misfit had to come on stage and ask the audience to 'control themselves'. Of course he did this in the politest possible way, but c'mon man, everyone knows D Double is THAT guy! As proved by the crowd of people that followed him out of the building and across the road…
Unfortunate circumstances meant that P Money was unable to perform as advertised as he is currently touring with original 'bad boy' Skepta, However, we're sure he'll be back another time.
The G-Shock team also seemed to be enjoying themselves, handing out cans of red bull throughout the night and then tweeting:
GShockEast : "@YoungsTeflon is someone I'd like to see at the next session."
Youngs Teflon swiftly replied, "sort out a dat n I'm THERE! Alongside all my fans stage side"
If you were in attendance on Friday you would know what he means by 'stage side'… If not, check out the Video of Marger's performance and we'll see you all at the next one!
