What? People’s Army general Logic has joined forces with long-term friend and producer Last Resort for his album True Talk, which we’re pretty sure is his first major album release to be made available in all good retail outlets. An independent venture, the album oozes top class lyricism and sets the level for UK hip-hop. Featuring Maverick Sabre, Akala, Lowkey, Mighty Moe, Klashnekoff and more, the True Talk sees Logic & co exploring topics from revolution to love and relationships over an impressive backdrop of beats.

Fact File: Logic’s career started when he first performed at the well-respected record shop ‘Deal Real Records’ in Carnaby Street, which sadly closed down. Recession par. He has been touring with fellow People’s Army peers Jody McIntyre, Shadia Mansour and Lowkey in the States earlier on this year, where he has shared the same stage as Immortal Technique.

Fact File: Delilah’s real name is Paloma but to avoid complications with Paloma Faith, she picked her grandmothers name Delilah as she wanted to have something familiar.

What? Big Sean hooked up with Chris Brown and has thrown in a bit of auto-tune and champagne talk for his forthcoming single ‘My Last’. Taken from much anticipated debut Finally Famous, this is a winning moment. In fact you might as well just buy the album.

Fact File: Big Sean has recently signed a deal with adidas to design his own line of garments and trainers. According to the G.O.O.D. Music crew the trainers are due to drop very soon.

Fact File: Redlight had a ‘beef’ with Groove Armada earlier this year over ‘Red Light’ being used by the electronic duo for their new decks ‘n’ FX show. Groove Armada apparently didn’t bother coming up with a new name.
