Half Irish and half Jamaican, west-London based Ice Kid has been in and out of the grime game since he was 14 years young. Back for 2012, aged 19, and more in tune with his Jamaican roots, his comeback track ‘Marijuana’ signals big things to come.

If you remember his first coming, it was an appearance on Tim Westwood alongside Wiley and Chipmunk (as well as his version of Stylo G’s ‘My Yout’) that put Ice Kid on the map. Last year saw his comeback track ‘The Rain’ put on 1Xtra’s playlist just two weeks after being released as a sneak peak from his ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ EP. The track, also featuring Amplify Dot, received love from new and old fans of Ice, showcasing his diverse talent – he’s not just an MC, he’s got songwriting and guitar skills too.

Having already worked with some of the biggest names in the scene we’re always kept on our toes with this Kid. Check his latest single ‘Live Once’ circulating on the airwaves and you’ll get why this year is his for the taking.
