Who are Punch Records?
Punch Records are a music driven arts organisation based in Birmingham, operating on a national and international level. The aim of the company is to celebrate the raw talent coming out of the West Midlands, creative industries and young people.
What services do Punch Records provide?
Born as a record store in 1997, Punch Records provide a wide range of services within music. From workshops and bespoke educational packages to event promotion and organise a large scale of concerts and club nights, but also offer the basis to develop music skills and enter the creative sector.
Current project?
Apart from the MOBO Academy Industry Takeover in Birmingham on the 22nd February @ mac, they’re currently involved in numerous projects from educational courses such as ‘Managing a Music Business Enterprise’, to event organisation with BASS (British Arts & Street Sounds) Festival, a month long festival celebrating Black music and arts in Birmingham.
