Industry Takeover All-Day Seminar & Showcase is all about empowering the next generation of emcees, singers, DJs and young music industry professionals.
Urban Development, in association with Rich Mix, will be ‘taking over’ the multi-media arts complex in Shoreditch, East London to bring you performances from top names in the urban music industry, essential master classes, open mic sessions, a music market, vocal/production workshops, a fashion show, as well as exclusive video and short film screenings.

A BRIEF HISTORY
Since the launch event, in January 2009, Industry Takeover has built a reputation for offering professional development, entertainment, education and networking opportunities to hundreds of industry-minded youth from across the capital.
Industry Takeover began its second phase in October 2009, with a series of monthly seminars, open mics and showcases at Stratford Circus. These sessions were managed by Urban Development’s youth events team, the UD Creatives, and delivered seminars on publishing, image, networking, as well as top performances from Marvell, Cherri V, Lil Simz, Cynikal, Fuzzy Logic, The Stow, Tribal Man, Cynthia Erivo, Trozion, Clement Marfo and open mic champion Roxxxan.
